ATP Gov Awarded MDA SHIELD Contract in 2025
ATP Gov is pleased to announce it was awarded a contract for the Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $151B. This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility.
What is SHIELD?
SHIELD is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract that is designed to deliver continuous, layered protection against evolving threats across air, missile, space, and cyber threats. SHIELD empowers the DoW to rapidly acquire innovative technologies and services ranging from science and technology research to production, fielding, sustainment, and modernization.
The contract emphasizes agility and innovation, encouraging the use of AI/ML applications, digital engineering, open systems architectures, and mode-based system engineering to accelerate delivery speeds.
