Our Story

In 1983 a couple of University of Wisconsin undergraduates created Ace Computers to capitalize on the growing computer market. For John Samborski, after several years as a full-time civil engineer, the continual growth in the computer business enabled him to pursue his passion full-time. John’s sister Marianne joined Ace in the late 1990s; under their joint leadership, the company has seen an unprecedented era of growth, prosperity, and continued expansion.

Founded in 2008, Ace Technology Partners gained significant traction with the award of the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) Computer Contract in 2009), as well as the successful ISO 9001 certification in 2009 (and ISO 9001:2008 recertification in 2012 and 2015) and ISO 28000:2007 certification in 2021, leading to the award of the NETCENTS 2 contract in 2013, and the NASA SEWP V contract in 2015 and ADMC-3 in 2020. It was rebranded as ATP Gov in 2020.
